Today, Belavia-Belarusian Airlines has performed the first regular flight on the route Minsk-Budapest-Belgrade- Budapest -Minsk
Flights to the Ferentz Liszt International Airport (Budapest, Hungary) and the Nikola Tesla International Airport (Belgrade, Serbia) will be performed mainly on aircrafts CRJ-100/200. The flight frequency will be 2 times a week on Mondays and Thursdays.
This is the only regular flight of the Belarusian air carrier that connects not only the destination point of the Republic of Belarus with the foreign one but two destination points in other states. Besides, Belavia is the only operator on the route Budapest-Belgrade. The first flight has been performed on more spacious Embraer 175 to satisfy the increased demand on the part of the passengers.
“I think this flight will be interesting to tourists and will facilitate business contacts between the three states. Besides, opening of this flight will contribute to increase in the number of both direct and transit passengers, traveling via Minsk further to points in CIS countries and Asia. I hope the passengers will see the true value of the service and the opportunities provided by Belavia on international routes,” - said General Director of Belavia Belarusian Airlines, Anatoly Gusarov.
“To start the flights from Minsk to Belgrade, it was necessary to combine efforts of the air companies, airports, aviation authorities and businessmen. But in this case a considerable contribution was made by high ranking officials of Belarus and Serbia. Of course, in the first turn, it is being done to satisfy the needs of the citizens”, - said General Director of the Nikola Tesla International Airport, Dr. Velimir Radosavlevich.
“The Budapest Airport is happy to announce about two new flights of the Belarusian air company Belavia from Budapest on route Minsk and Belgrade We are sure that these routes will become popular both among tourists and businessmen”, - declared Commercial Director of the Ferentz Liszt International Airport, Kam Yandu.
