Return of ticket, which was purchased on site

When an e-ticket is purchased through the official website an air carriage agreement is entered into by and between ‘Belavia’ Belarusian Airlines and the passenger, whereof all agreement obligations arise directly between the above parties (despite the fact whether the e-ticket was paid by the passenger himself or other person made the payment for him). The air transportation agreement may be cancelled by:

  • Passenger;
  • ‘Belavia’ Belarusian Airlines.

The air transportation agreement may be cancelled:

  • voluntary (by virtue of request of either of the parties);
  • involuntary (for reasons beyond party’s control, for example flight cancellation, schedule change etc.)

Refund of the e-ticket purchased on-line shall only be made as per Application for flight cancellation and refund, which shall be filled in by:

  • passenger or his/her proxy, if passenger is of full age and legally capable;
  • passenger’s legal representative (parents, adoptive parents, guardians or curators), if passenger is minor or legally incapable.

Refund of the e-ticket purchased on-line may be requested by a person, who made the payment, only if an Application for flight cancellation and refund is available and filled in by passenger (his/her proxy or legal representative).

‘Belavia’ National Airlines bears no responsibility for :

  • the passenger’s (his/her proxy’s or legal representative’s) decision to cancel the flight and make a refund;
  • the passenger’s (his/her proxy’s or legal representative’s) refusal to provide the person made the payment with Application for ticket cancellation and refund requested by ‘Belavia’ National Airlines and any disagreements, which may appear between passenger (his/her proxy or legal representative) and person paid for e-ticket by virtue of this rejection.

Passenger (his/her proxy or legal representative) has the right to cancel only the e-ticket issued in passenger’s name.

The amount subject to refund shall be transferred within 20 working days from the date, on which all necessary information is received as described below.

If an a-ticket is paid on-line by credit card If an e-ticket is paid through ‘Raschet’ system
Should the bank card used to pay for e-ticket be valid in the month, when the amount is refunded, the money will be transferred to the above card; If an e-ticket is paid by bank card and the above card is valid in the month, when the amount is refunded, the money will be transferred to the credit card account;
Should the bank card used to pay for e-ticket be not valid in the month, when the amount is refunded, the way to transfer the money will be determined for each particular case. In all other cases the money will be transferred to a current account opened in any Belarusian bank..

‘Belavia’ National Airlines bears no responsibility for :

  • possible difference resulted from currency conversion or bank service charges when the money is refunded to the bank card used to pay for e-ticket (in case of on-line purchase);
  • possible difference resulted from bank service charges when the money is refunded to credit card account/current account (in case of purchase through ‘Raschet’ system).

5. Document proving invalidity of the credit card used to pay for e-ticket on-line (in case the credit card used to pay for e-ticket is invalid in the month, when the amount is refunded). 5. 7. The copy of the receipt received in a bank in case of cash payment (if available).
