Spring has already come to Holland!

The sun glances at us more and more often, but winter doesn’t seem willing to surrender. And while it is snowing again outside we are already dreaming of walking on the grass among blossoming spring flowers… This dream can come true – you just need to go to Holland, to the famous Keukenhof park, the place where spring is at its most beautiful! This park is known worldwide and has been one of the most popular destinations in the Netherlands for many years now.

Spring starts at Keukenhof on March 18 and will last until May 16. In as little as 150 minutes, with the direct Belavia flights Minsk-Amsterdam you can meet Spring at Keukenhof, where flower shows take place every day: you can admire tulips and lilies, narcissi and orchids, and see this floral splendour turned into veritable works of art. You are sure to be utterly impressed by the Orchid Weekend (April 17 and 18), the Flower Parade (April 24), Traditional National Costume Festival (May 7 till 9), Barrel-Organ Festival (May 16) and numerous parades, where gorgeous flowers take the central place.

Another prominent event in Holland is the Queen’s Day, which is traditionally celebrated on April 30. It is a national holiday all over the Kingdom of the Netherlands, but only in Amsterdam the festivities turn into one huge party and the whole city turns orange. The good-humoured atmosphere, cosiness and hospitality will surely make you think of coming to this country once again.
