Belavia’s fleet has been increased

On April 7, 2010 one more aircraft will land in the National airport Minsk, that was acquired by Belavia in the operational leasing. This is the 6-th aircraft of this modification, that will increase the air fleet of the air carrier.

 The aircraft is oriented on the transportation of 131 passengers with provision of business and economy class service. In compliance with its technical characteristics the aircraft can operate medium- haul flights on range up to 4 444 km with the maximum cruising speed 912 km/h. It is planned to use the aircraft advantageously on the regular flights of the airline. The aircraft was examined by the specialists and conforms all international safety standards.

Taking into account the airline policy directed to the widening of the flights geography on the regular itineraries, also the heightened demand from the part of the passengers on regular and charter flights, acquisition of the new aircraft is the essential measure to satisfy the needs of the passengers in safe and comfortable conditions of transportation.

Belavia constantly makes an accent in its activity on the modernization of the aircraft fleet, that unconditionally positively reflects on the image of the flag carrier, on the passengers’ loyalty and more effective functioning of the enterprise.

According to the General Director Anatoly Gusarov Belavia makes an adequate competition for the foreign airlines, whose presence on the Belarusian market increases each year. Obtaining of the new aircraft indicates that the airline does not lose its positions, but on the contrary, develops dynamically and improves.

At the present moment the air fleet of Belavia numbers 6 Boeing 737-500, 3 Boeing 737-300, 3 CRJ-100/200, 4 ТУ- 154 М.
