Belavia and Finnair have made an agreement of code-sharing

The National airline “Belavia” and the biggest Finnish air carrier Finnair have made an agreement on joint exploitation of the airway Minsk-Helsinki (agreement of code-sharing). Starting from the 2011 July, 18 joint flights between the capitals of Belarus and Finland will begin. Before this moment the Belavia exploited the airway on its own. Regular communication between Minsk and Helsinki has been opened by the national airline “Belavia” on the 1st of June, 2011.

Modern jet aircrafts CRJ – 100/200 are mainly designated or the new airway, these aircraft may carry up to 50 passengers and provide services of business- and economy-class. The flights between Belarus and Finland take place thrice a week – on Mondays, on Wednesdays and on Sundays.

United capacities of the two airlines provide for the passengers additional opportunities to travel in transit via Helsinki to the airports of Scandinavia, Southeast Asia, North America, and via Minsk – to destinations in the CIS, Caucasus, and Middle East.
