“First of all, we expect to see businessmen on this flight. Geneva is a major business center of Europe with a large number of companies and organizations Belarus has business relationships with. I hope that direct air traffic will facilitate strengthening of the relationships. Besides, our flight will be also interesting to transit passengers who travel via Minsk further within the Belavia route network. Of course, beside the business flow, the flights will be popular among tourists as well. In winter, flights to Geneva will be especially attractive for those who go skiing and snowboarding. Transfer from the airport to major ski resorts will take no more than 1-2 hours. The peculiarity of the Geneva Airport consists in the fact that it is actually located on the border with France that makes it especially attractive for tourists who seek to receive the maximum impressions within one trip. In summer time, tourists will be able to have a walk through the historical center of Geneva, see multiple sights and continue their journey across Switzerland, France and, possibly, Italy”, – said General Director of Belavia Belarusian Airlines, Anatoly Gusarov.
