The Sharm el-Sheikh – Minsk flight landed in Ankara due to the passenger's poor health.

On the evening of August 24, at 23:30, Belavia charter flight B2 8148 Sharm El-Sheikh - Minsk landed at Ankara airport (Turkey) due to the passenger's poor health. The crew took all measures to provide assistance. Even before boarding, the flight attendants announced over the speakerphone that medical support was required. Two qualified doctors responded to the call. The passenger underwent cardiopulmonary resuscitation. The aircraft commander decided to make an emergency landing in order to promptly transfer the passenger to the doctors. Unfortunately, despite all the efforts made, it was not possible to save the passenger's life. After completing the necessary procedures and refueling, the plane took off from Ankara to Minsk at 02.50 on August 25 and landed in Minsk at 07.42.
