Belavia has performed the first flight to Kutaisi

On August 4, Belavia Belarusian Airlines performed its first regular flight to Kutaisi. The ancient Georgian city has become the third point of destination in Georgia in the route network of the airline. Also, the carrier performs regular flights to Tbilisi and Batumi.

The flights will be performed on Wednesdays and Sundays with departure from Minsk at 09:35 and with arrival at Kutaisi International Airport at 13:35. The flights from Kutaisi are planned to perform at 14:25 with arrival in the capital of Belarus at 16:30. Time for all airports is local.

Thus, Belavia performs 31 flights a week from Minsk to the airports of Georgia.

The minimum cost of one-turn tickets is 85 euro (LIGHT tariff), the cost for round-trip tickets is 169 euro. More information about the schedule and tariffs can be found on the official website of Belavia.

It is planned to operate in this direction the Embraer 175 aircraft, which was designed to carry 76 passengers: 12 seats in business class and 64 seats in economy class. The travel time is about 3 hours.

“Starting to perform regular flights to Kutaisi International Airport, we are taking an important step towards the development of the route network of Belavia. Kutaisi is located in the very heart of hospitable Georgia, we are sure that this destination will become popular among lovers of relaxing at sea and among business travelers. Despite the fact that the main type of the aircraft in this direction is Embraer, the first flight today was performed on Boeing 737-800 aircraft with more than 170 passengers travelled from Minsk. And this, of course, allows us to assess the prospects of the new flight very optimistically”, commented Igor Cherginets, the general director of Belavia.

Kutaisi is an ancient Georgian city, located at the banks of the Rioni river, which attracts attention of travelers by its interesting history, a harmonious combination of ancient and modern architecture, tranquility and hospitality. The main attractions of the city include the White Bridge, the Colchis Fountain, Bagrat Temple, the Parliament building and the Lado Meskhishvili Theatre.
