Flights of Belavia to Kazakhstan (updated)

Belavia Belarusian Airline resumes the flight operation to Almaty with a departure from Minsk on the 3rd and 6th days (from Almaty on the 4th and 7th days) from January 15, 2022.
In connection with the existing curfew restrictions in Almaty, the Minsk-Almaty-Minsk flights on January 15 (16) and January 19 (20) will be operated according to a modified schedule (the time for all airports is local):

  • The departure from Minsk is at 11:55 pm., arrival in Almaty is at 09:10 am.
  • The departure from Almaty is at 11:00 am., arrival in Minsk is at 12:10 am.

The operation of flights to Nur-Sultan has been resumed from January 7, according to the published schedule.

The airline is closely following the events in Kazakhstan, that can have a negative impact on flight safety. Regular flights to Kazakhstan will be operated only upon confirming of the Aviation Department of the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Belarus and only with unconditional safety of flights.

At the same time, Belavia Belarusian Airline understands the importance of direct flight connections between Belarus and Kazakhstan in the current situation, that provides the opportunity for citizens of the Republic of Belarus and of other countries, who stay in Kazakhstan, to fly home.

At present, flights Minsk-Almaty-Minsk on 05 (06), 06 (07), 08 (09), 12(13) January, Minsk-Nur-Sultan-Minsk on 06 (07) January were cancelled. In cases when the scheduled flights changes, passengers are immediately informed by the airline, which uses the contact data in the booking. In case of flight cancellation, the passengers can postpone the flight to the other date or return the ticket within its expiration date*.

Passengers holding tickets with flight to/from Kazakhstan on direct flights of Belavia up to January 10, 2022 inclusively, can voluntarily, change the date of flight without additional payments (within the same service class) for direct flights, flying to/from Minsk to Kazakhstan until January 31, 2022, regardless of the flight status.

For reference: Belavia operates direct flight from Minsk to Almaty on 3rd, 6th days (return flight from Almaty is on 4th, 7th days) and direct flights from Minsk to Nur-Sultan on 2nd, 4th, 5th ,7th days (return flight from Nur-Sultan is on 1st, 3th, 5th, 6th days). .


*The ticket is valid for one year from the moment of issue for fully unused air tickets, 1 year from the date of initial departure for partially used tickets.
