Belavia will start operating the flights to Nizhny Novgorod

On May 30, 2017 “Belavia” will start performing the flights on the route Minsk-Nizhny Novgorod-Minsk.

“Belavia Airlines” and the airport “Strigino” have led negotiations on the opening of flights to Nizhniy Novgorod for three years. Taking into consideration the forthcoming growth of passenger flow in Russia and the lack of foreign carriers in the International Airport “Strigino”, it was decided to open the flight on the route Minsk-Nizhny Novgorod-Minsk. “Belavia Airlines” will provide the residents of Nizhny Novgorod and the surrounding towns with the opportunity to travel to destinations in Europe, the Caucasus and Central Asia in transit through Minsk at attractive price", - said the General Director of OAO”Belavia Airlines” Anatoly Gusarov.

Flights will be operated 4 times a week with the departure from Minsk at 23.45 on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays and the arrival in Strigino International Airport on the next day at 01.35 (local time).The return flight from Nizhny Novgorod is planned to be carried out with the departure at 4:45 on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays and the arrival in the National Airport “Minsk” at 6:45. Flying time will take about 2 hours. The Flights to Nizhniy Novgorod are planned to be performed on the aircraft Embraer 195 with seat capacity of 107 seats.

The price of one-way tickets will make up from 88 euros, including taxes and fees, and return tickets will cost from 156 euros. Tickets are already available for sale.

“Minsk Airport will be the nearest port hub to the Nizhny Novgorod for the flights to Europe, Asia and the CIS. The schedule of flight from Strigino is composed in such a way that our passengers can comfortably carry out a transfer to the flights they need,”- shared the executive director of the International Airport Strigino Denis Bukin.
