General Provisions.

  1. Any passenger of the National Air Company Belavia (hereinafter referred to as the “Belavia”) not younger than 2 years old may become a member of "Belavia Leader" Program.
  2. Participation in belavia leader program is voluntary, free of charge and individual for every passenger.
  3. To become a member of the «Belavia Leader» program it is necessary to complete the registration form on the Belavia website belavia.by/leader. To register in the program you need to use a unique email address. Only one participant is allowed to register per e-mail address. Registration in the program means familiarization and agreement with the current rules of participation in the program, as well as with subsequent changes. In order to stop participating in the program, you must send an application to the e-mail address leader@belavia.by. The member is recommended to periodically review the text of the rules posted on the website belavia.by in order to review the changes.
  4. Belavia reserves the right to refuse registration of a member who deliberately provided misleading information in the application form.
  5. After registration, the member ID and password will be sent to the unique e-mail address specified by the member.
  6. All activity done by a member via his personal account at belavia.by is considered to be the activity having been done on behalf and with an approval of a program member. Belavia does not bear responsibility for consequences occurred as a result of an account unauthorized entry using a password.
  7. The date of registration of the member and opening of the personal account is considered to be the date of commencement of the program participation.
  8. The member of the program controls the relevance of the personal data specified in the profile and notifies the airline of any changes in a timely manner.
  9. The member’s personal details may be amended by:
    • the member through a personal cabinet on Belavia site (Belavia underlines that revision of the member's personal details through the personal cabinet on the site may be limited and is authorized exclusively by submitting an application in writing);
    • sending a respective request in writing to Belavia. The request should be signed by the member personally. Copies of confirming documents (passport, Marriage Certificate, etc.) should be attached to the request of the change of a surname/name.
  10. The e-membership card will be available in the member’s personal account.
  11. Every member may have only one personal account in the individual "Belavia Leader" Program. The member’s account or points may not be commingled with an account or points of other program members.
  12. Belavia reserves the right to change the rules of participation in the program and its condition without a prior notice, including the right to change the itineraries of flights for which points are earned and for which award tickets may be issued and service class may be upgraded; to change the number of points to be earned for the flight; the number of points needed for issuing an award ticket (service class upgrade), to change conditions and rules of using additional bonuses for members of elite tiers, etc.
  13. Belavia reserves the right to exclude the member from the program without a prior notice, cancel all earned points, close the member's account and withdraw award tickets in the following cases:
    • violation of the program rules and conditions by the member,
    • repeated violation of Belavia Passenger and Baggage Transport Rules by the member.
  14. Belavia may cancel "Belavia Leader" Program by preliminary notifying the members one month prior to the cancellation date. In this case, the tickets issued within the framework of the program may be used within the period of validity of these tickets.
  15. "Belavia Leader" Program may be expanded by involving partner companies into the program without prior notice of the other program members. Belavia may exclude any partner company from the program without preliminary notifying the members. The information about Belavia’s partners is available on belavia.by/leader
  16. If the fact of double registration of one participant is discovered, Belavia has the right to close one of the accounts without notifying the participant.
  17. Registration in the program «Belavia Leader» automatically means voluntary consent to collection, systematization and storage of the subject's personal data for the purpose of awarding points and receiving marketing mailings from Belavia. In case of disagreement with the protection of personal data, the member will be denied registration in the program. Participant of «Belavia Leader» program may at any time withdraw consent to receive marketing mailings, which will entail termination of information about Belavia’s shares and special offers. Participant of the program «Belavia Leader» can at any time withdraw the consent to participation in the program «Belavia Leader», which will entail the closure of the personal account and the termination of marketing information from the airline.

Rules of Earning Points

  1. The member of the “Belavia Leader" is earned points for own flights by Belavia scheduled regular flights. The itineraries for which points may be credited are provided in the Table of earning points. Points for uncompleted flights are not credited.
  2. The points earned by "Belavia Leader" member can be used for receiving awards and award service class upgrade.
  3. Qualifying points are credited to the member account for Belavia scheduled flight. The number of qualifying points is to be credited for a flight is provided in table of earning points. The number of qualifying points to be credited by the members depends on the booking itinerary and fare brands.
    Nonqualifying points which may be extra credited to "Belavia Leader" member such as awards for elite tiers, awards for participation in Belavia’s special offer program, for using partner services etc. Nonqualifying points are not counted in case of qualification for the premium level.
  4. In case no flight has been recorded on the member’s account for two calendar years running, points on such account, earned prior to this period, will expire.
  5. The points are not credited for charter flights, code-share flights and for itineraries not specified in "Belavia Leader" table. Points are credited only if the ticket issued on Belavia quota (B2 code) and for the directions specified in the table of earning points.
  6. Points for the travel made by Belavia scheduled flight are automatically credited to the member’s account, provided that all necessary conditions are met (the member’s card was presented during the passenger check-in, the member’s number was entered into a reservation system and a surname/name in the booking exactly match the details of "Belavia Leader" member). Points are credited to the member’s account within 5 days after the flight.
  7. When traveling by a ticket issued with the award service class upgrade, the points are earned according to the class paid.
  8. Points and flight segments for award tickets are not credited.
  9. Points may be credited on personal account for the flights made before the registration in the program. For this purpose, the member should complete a special form (in a personal cabinet or in Belavia sales offices). The application can be accepted to consideration within 6 month from flight date. Belavia does not guarantee crediting points when providing incorrect or incomplete data.
  10. The points added wrongfully or by mistake to the member may be redeemed from an account without notifying the members.
  11. Points will not be credited for discounted air tickets unless otherwise stated by discount rules
  12. Points are credited for Belavia scheduled flight if the ticket issued on Belavia blank (code 628).
  13. The member independently controls his account (calculation of points for flights and partner activity).

Rules of Receiving Awards

  1. An award within the framework of "Belavia Leader" Program is an award ticket or a service class upgrade. A cash equivalent of awards is not paid and the service class upgrade under the award ticket is not allowed.
  2. Upon earning the required number of points on the program personal account by the member is available on the member’s account, a award ticket may be issued or the service class may be upgraded for the member.
  3. An award in “Belavia Leader” Program can be issued in the Belavia ticket offices, the Belavia representative offices abroad.
  4. For issuing awards in the ticket offices (including the offices abroad) a member have to fill in an application form for award ticket issuing. For issuing an award via website a member uses his personal ID and a password.
  5. When an award ticket is issued or an award service class upgrade is provided, an adequate number of points is redeemed from the personal account of the member.
  6. Booking award class seats and award service class upgrade is carried out in special classes the number of which can be limited by Belavia. When booking a ticket the member should inform Belavia about using earned points for the travel.
  7. Belavia also reserves the right to limit the issue of award tickets or service class upgrade because of commercial reason.
  8. An award ticket may be issued or the service class may be upgraded by confirmed reservation. The award ticket issue or the service class upgrade with an open date is not allowed.
  9. In case seats are not available in a specially assigned reservation class, the member may be included into the waitlist. Belavia may refuse to issue the award ticket (service class upgrade) to the member for a specific flight due to lack of seats in the class specially assigned for reserving award class tickets. Availability of seats in other reservation classes is not considered to be a confirmation of seats in award classes.
  10. Booking award class seats for the following award issue in the office is possible not later than 4 days before expected departure date. Award class seats cannot be reserved 3 or less days before departure.
  11. The award ticket and the service class upgrade may be issued only for Belavia scheduled flights provided in Table of spending points.
  12. The program member should pay airport and other taxes, duties and fees personally charged for the air transport service and the award issue.
  13. When issuing an award ticket (an award service class upgrading), the passenger must present the original passport and provide the Belavia Leader program id.
  14. Award ticket should be issued by the time set by custom service specialists when booking an award ticket.
  15. Points from the member's account can be debited both to issue an award for the member personally and for other passengers. In order to deduct points from the account of an individual member for an award to another person, it is necessary to fill out an application for the award signed by the account owner (when the award is issued at airline ticket sales offices).
  16. Award ticket or promotion of service class can be formulated in the name of a passenger under 2 years old:
    • with writing off 10% the number of points, which are necessary for the formulation of the award according to the Table of earning points, without granting a separate place on the plane.
    • with writing off of the number of points, which are necessary for the formulation of the award according to the Table of earning points, with a separate place on the plane.
  17. Conditions for issuing awards for elite and corporate members may differ.

Rules of Using Award

  1. An award ticket can only be used by a member of the Belavia Leader program personally. It is not allowed to transfer the issued ticket to another person.
  2. Handing over an award ticket to another person is not allowed.
  3. The points redeemed from an account to issue the award ticket or upgrade the service class are not returned both fully and partially. The ticket issued with the use of points can not be reissued (including the change of itinerary).
  4. When an award ticket has to be refunded due to the fault of the airline (flight cancelled, delayed), the unused taxes and duties are to be paid to the member.
  5. The ticket issued for the points is valid during one year from the date of ticket issue.
  6. The award service class upgrade may be issued only by a confirmed and paid economy class ticket (class in the paid ticket is only Y or M) issued according to the itinerary on Belavia tickets blanks (code - 628). Tickets issued on neutral blanks and on blanks of other airlines can not be accepted for the award service class upgrade.
  7. An award upgrade can only be issued for tickets containing Belavia flight segments (code – B2). An award upgrade to the class of service is allowed, either for one or for all coupons in the ticket.
  8. Issue of the award service class upgrade based on tickets paid at special group fares using points, free tickets or low fare tickets is not allowed.
  9. The departure date/flight in the award ticket may be changed within the term of validity of the ticket:
    • before flight departure - with 20EUR penalty
    • after flight departure - with 50EUR penalty
  10. Changing the itinerary in the award tickets issued using points is not allowed.
  11. The rules of paid fare apply to the ticket issued with the award service class upgrade.
  12. When refunding a ticket issued with the award service class upgrade, the amount paid at the fare less penalties and duties for the refund (if these are provided for by the paid fare) is to be returned to the member. Points used for issuing the award service class upgrade are not returned to the member's account.
  13. An award ticket can only be issued to an individual.
  14. A program member intending to use points for flights sponsored by any organization (employer) to obtain an award must agree on the possibility of such use with the organization (employer).
  15. The changing of the departure date/flight in the award ticket issued for the name of a passenger under 2 years old may be used within the term of validity of the ticket:
    • without charges for ticket issued for a passenger under 2 years old with writing off 10% the number of points, which are necessary for the formulation of the award according to the Table 1 of earning points (without a separate seat in the plane);
    • with charges of 20EUR before flight departure and with charges of 50EUR after flight departure for ticket issued for the name of a passenger under 2 years old with writing off of the number of points, which are necessary for the formulation of the award according to the Table 1 of earning points (with a separate place on the plane).

Elite Tiers.

  1. Each program member may be transferred to one of the elite tiers (Golden or Silver), provided that specific conditions are met.
  2. The following is needed to be transferred to one of the elite tiers:
    • Silver: flying 20 flight segments by Belavia flights specified in Table of earning points for which the member earns points[1] or earning 15,000 qualifying points within one calendar year (from 1 January to 31 December).
    • Golden: flying 40 flight segments by Belavia flights specified in Table of earning points for which the member earns points[1] or earning 30,000 qualifying points within one calendar year (from 1 January to 31 December).
  3. When the tier is upgraded/downgraded, a notification and a plastic card of a member of the respective tier is sent to the member.
  4. The Golden and Silver tier card is valid for 1 year.
  5. If qualifying requirements specified in Paragraph 2 are not fulfilled by the elite tier "Belavia Leader" Program member for a calendar year, the member is transferred to a lower tier (in accordance with the member’s flight activity).
  6. The following bonuses are provided to "Belavia Leader" Program members of the Golden and Silver tiers within validity of the card of a respective elite tier:
    • Silver:
      • additional 25% points for flights. Points awarded in this manner are non-qualifying.
      • Access to the business lounge at the airport when departing on Belavia’s own regular flights (if the ticket is issued in the Economy Light, Economy Smart and Economy Flex fare brands, as well as group tariff (class G) .With the exception of tickets issued at promotional fares, for business tickets and tickets issued using discounts (except for children's discount));
        An invitation to the business lounge is issued at the check-in counter before departure on Belavia's own scheduled flights (B2 operated flights, carrier code in the booking and ticket - B2) upon presentation of a valid elite-level Belavia Leader program member card. At some airports, access to the VIP lounge may be limited.
      • Business class check-in desk, regardless of the class of the ticket;
        The privilege is granted when departing on Belavia's own scheduled flights (B2 operated flights, carrier code in the booking and air ticket - B2) upon presentation of a valid elite level Belavia Leader program member card (if a separate counter is allocated for check-in of business class passengers)..
      • Additional carriage of one piece of baggage not exceeding 23 kg to the free baggage allowance in Economy Smart, Economy Flex, Business fare brands, as well as on an award ticket and group fare (class G, with the right to transport 1 piece of checked baggage) (B2 operated flights, carrier code in booking and ticket – B2 ) upon presentation of a valid e-membership card of the Belavia Leader elite level program.
      • Possibility of formulation of the award for any person by means of writing off points from the personal account.
      • Fast-track for security check at the Minsk National Airport by international flights departure.
    • Golden:
      • additional 50% points for flights. Points awarded in this manner are non-qualifying.
      • access to the business lounge at the airport when departing on Belavia’s own regular flights (if the ticket is issued under the Economy Light, Economy Smart and Economy Flex fare brands. With the exception of air tickets issued at promotional fares, for business air tickets and tickets issued using discounts (except for children's discount)).
        An invitation to the business lounge is issued at the check-in counter before departure on Belavia's own regular flights (B2 operated flights, carrier code in the booking and ticket - B2) upon presentation of a valid Belavia Leader elite level program member card. At some airports, access to the VIP lounge may be limited.
      • Business class check-in desk, regardless of the class of the ticket;
        The privilege is granted when departing on Belavia's own scheduled flights (B2 operated flights, carrier code in the booking and air ticket - B2) upon presentation of a valid elite level Belavia Leader program member card (if a separate counter is allocated for check-in of business class passengers).
      • Additional carriage of one piece of baggage not exceeding 32 kg to the free baggage allowance in the Economy Light, Economy Smart, Economy Flex, Business fare brands, as well as on an award ticket and a group fare (class G, with the right to transport 1 piece of checked baggage.
      • Upgrade of the service class on board from economy to business class, subject to availability (if the ticket is issued under the Economy Light, Economy Smart and Economy Flex tariff brands).
        In case of granting the privilege of "Upgrade on board" to participants of the golden level program, the free baggage allowance is maintained in accordance with the information specified in the ticket. Additionally, the passenger has the right to carry one bag x 32 kg according to his golden-level participant privilege.
      • The first change of departure date on your ticket is free. The privilege applies only to tickets issued for direct scheduled flights of Belavia, without sections of other air carriers. Mandatory conditions for granting the privilege:
        • changing the date/flight does not entail a violation of the fare rules;
        • fare rules allow changing the departure date with a penalty. In cases where the fare rules only allow date/flight changes to upgrade to a higher fare, the Gold Member will pay the difference in fares but will be exempt from paying the date/flight change fee.
      • Possibility of issuing a silver Belavia Leader card for a spouse with the same validity period as the gold member card. Card is issued at the request of the gold member. To issue a new card for your spouse (with a new expiration date), you must submit a new application to the program. A copy of the marriage certificate is attached to the application.
      • Possibility of formulation of the award for any person by means of writing off points from the personal account.
      • Fast-track for security check at the Minsk National Airport by international flights departure.
  7. Corporations (organizations), registered as participants of the “Belavia Leader” program, can not be promoted to the premium level.
  8. In case of identification of attempts of obtaining elite level member’s privileges by the person who does not have the right for their receiving with use of the elite level member’s card (number), the airline has the right to suspend providing privileges to the holder of an elite card.
  9. In order to use the privileges at the airport before departure, the member must present the valid e-Membership Card of the appropriate level. The privileges do not apply to charter flights.

  2. сonstraints for providing a business lounge and a business class check-in for the elite-tier members may be introduced in specific airports. The time to stay for passengers in the business lounge is regulated by airport rules and is not more than 3 hours.
  3. The privilege is not guaranteed, not provided for flights based on tickets issued at group and promotional fares, for employee's tickets, award tickets (issued for points of the "Belavia Leader" program) and tickets issued at a discounts (except a children's discount).

Participation of minors.

  1. Participation of minors is to be organized in the following way:
    • for children from 2 to 14 years old - on children`s behalf by their legal representatives (parents, foster parents, trustees)
    • for children from 14 to 18 years old - with consent of their legal representatives.
  2. Legal representatives assure all activity of a minor`s account (in particular using personal account password), including personal data input/editing, spending points and issuing award tickets in accordance with the Item No.1 of the present Section.

Member’s card.

  1. An electronic version of the card is available in the member’s personal account.
  2. The airline does not have responsibility for a delay of card delivery by post.
  3. In order to load the card into the application, you need to scan the QR code, then download the card and upload it to any application for electronic cards (Apple Wallet, Samsung Pay, Google Pay, etc.).
  4. In order to confidentiality preservation of information on number of the elite level member, the card of the "Belavia Leader" program of elite level is sent (handed) in a closed envelope. The member is obliged to be convinced that the envelope is unopened.
  5. In case of loss, theft or damage of a card, "Belavia Leader" Program member should immediately notify Belavia. A new card is made and sent to the member free of charge. In case the card is lost or damaged for the second time during one calendar year, a new card is made and sent to the member after the cost of manufacturing the card in the amount of EUR20 has been paid. In case of duly documented theft of the card, a new card is made and sent to the member free of charge.

Program partners

  1. For the purchase of goods (use of services) of partners, non-qualifying points may be credited to the members' personal account in accordance with agreements concluded with partners.
  2. Points are credited to the member's account within 60 days from the date of payment for the goods or services of the partner, provided that the program member id was presented during the purchase or registration of the service.
  3. In addition to awarding points, partners may provide discounts and other benefits to program members. Belavia is not responsible for failure to provide such a discount or benefit.
  4. Information about new partners joining the program, partners leaving the program and the conditions for partner participation in the program is posted on the website belavia.by.
  5. The possibility of accruing points for partner services in cases where the member id was not presented when paying for goods (services) is stipulated in the agreement with each partner separately. Information about this is posted on each partner’s page on the website belavia.by.

If Points are not Added.

  1. If points for the travel made are not added to the member’s personal account (or not fully added), "Belavia Leader" Program member should fill in an application specifying the data of the travel in one of Belavia booking offices. The application should be personally signed by the member (an application of members under 18 years of age is to be signed by a parent/guardian). The application may be also completed in the personal cabinet on the airline’s site.
  2. The application for unaccounted flights can be accepted to consideration within 6 month from travel date.
  3. Belavia does not guarantee adding points when providing incorrect or incomplete data.
  4. Until charge of points on the balance in full the member has to keep flight documentation (ticket, boarding pass) or documents confirming the fact of payment for partner’s services.

Final provisions

  1. In case of the member's death, participation in the program is terminated, and the points accumulated in the account are canceled and cannot be used or transferred to other members.
  2. If a member is declared incapacitated, the legal representative (guardian) is responsible for his participation in the program.
  3. Belavia has the right to award additional points to members in connection with certain events or with the commission of certain actions.
  4. Belavia has the right to send marketing mailings to members (except for members who have withdrawn their consent).
