Belavia is opening flights to Batumi

Starting from 15 September 2010 Belavia Belarusian Airlines is opening a new direction in its geography of flights. Batumi is an oldest resort city of Georgia.

A new regular flight Minsk – Batumi – Minsk will be operated twice a week – on Wednesdays and Sundays by Boeing – 737/500 aircraft with business and economy-сlass services.

Departure from Minsk - at 00.15 a.m.; arrival to Batumi - at 03.50 a.m.;

back flight – from Batumi - at 05.30 a.m., arrival to Minsk 07.05 a.m. local time.

Such timetable makes it possible to efficiently schedule trips not only from Minsk to Batumi and back, but also to travel by Belavia flights to/from Amsterdam, Stockholm, Paris, Kiev, Kaliningrad, St-Petersburg, Prague, Riga, Berlin, Warsaw and Moscow.

In addition to the new flight from Minsk to Georgia Belavia has been running regular flights to Tbilisi for many years. As of today the frequency of such flights has grown to daily flights and the demand for the air transport service has been ever growing.

Opening of the new Minsk-Batumi flight will make it possible for Belavia to strengthen its presence in the Georgian market, and provide all who need it with new wider travelling opportunities.
