Minsk- Ashkhabad: New “Belavia” Route

Starting from December 14, 2010 the “Belavia” airline is going to perform regular flights on a new route Minsk- Ashkhabad-Minsk. Flights to the capital of Turkmenistan will take place once a week on Tuesdays with the return flight on Wednesdays. It takes four hours to get from the capital of Belarus to Ashkhabad: departure from Minsk is at 23.40, arrival in Ashkhabad is at 06.40, departure from Ashkhabad is at 07.40, arrival in Minsk is at 08.50 local time.

The flight timetable has been made in such a way so as to allow rendering convenient transit air transport service via Minsk to Ashkhabad from the cities of Western Europe and the CIS: Berlin, Warsaw, Vienna, Kaliningrad, Kiev, Milan, Moscow, Paris, Prague, Riga, St. Petersburg and Stockholm. While passengers from Ashkhabad may travel to Amsterdam, Warsaw, Vienna, Kaliningrad, Kiev, Moscow, Prague, Rome, St. Petersburg, Stockholm and Frankfurt.

For the flight Minsk- Ashkhabad “Belavia” will use Boeing 737-500 aircraft, which will provide passengers with economy and business class onboard service. This type of aircraft allows performing air cargo carriage as well.
