“Belavia” Signed Operating Lease Agreements with Air Lease Corporation


National airline “Belavia
signed Operating Lease Agreements of two airplanes Embraer-175 with American company Air Lease Corporation (ALC)
 
Under the terms and conditions of the agreement two new airplanes Embraer-175 from the manufacturing factory will be provided to the National air carrier under the terms and conditions of operating lease for the period of 10 years. The company expects to get the first airplane in autumn of 2012.
 
The medium-haul passenger aircraft Embraer-175 will be placed between a spacious Boeing-737 and small CRJ.  Airplanes will be of two-class cabin configuration: 12 seats in the business class cabin and 64 seats in the economy class. Airplanes perfectly suit our network flight frequency enlargement for satisfaction of our passengers’ demand” ― said Anatoly Gusarov, the General Director of  National Airline “Belavia”.
            
Airplane exploitation is planned at the lines that have a stable demand for business class flights. These are flights on Minsk – Moscow, London, Paris, Amsterdam routes, etc. 
Paulo Cesar de Souza e Silva, the President of “Embraer” Commercial Company Division commented: “Belavia” is a great example of an airline that has come to a decision of renovating its fleet in favor of Embraer airplanes which help the airline successfully realize the growth and aeromechanic economic use strategy at the airline route network”.  
 
Currently the employees of National Airline “Belavia” develop a conception of interior and exterior airplane design and conduct advance preparation prior to aircraft delivery: work up questions concerning pilot and technical personnel training.
