Who will Welcome You on Board?

The cooperative project of National Airline “Belavia” and TUT.BY Internet portal “Welcome on Board” has been finished. According to the results of three stages of the competition five candidates has become the members of Belavia company: Evgeniya Sartakova, Viktoriya Lesheva, Olga Pavlyuk, Natalya Zhitkevich, Olga Luschik.

 

The first stage ― online-voting according to short resumes filled in by the candidates on flight attendant position during the casting.

 

Within the frames of the second stage the competitors accomplished standard obligations of flight attendants: meeting of  passengers, handing out the periodicals and others. The expert committee consisting of the most active users of Internet portal www.tut.by estimated their vocation to the profession.

 

Within the last (third) stage TUT.BY users were choosing the most professional candidates on their point of view upon the video-cards, made according to the results of two previous stages.

 

The winners of the project “Welcome on Board” have already been officially employed, but before following up the passengers during the flight, future flight attendants would accomplish professional training at Minsk National Airport.

 

On basic course accomplishment future flight attendants will be sent to Sabenavita Training Center in Lithuania, where they would have special training for work on board of Boing aircraft.

 

“This is our first experience of choosing flight attendants this way, but absolutely useful. Before the project “Welcome on Board” we chose future flight attendants of the Airline by ourselves through casting.

 

This year there will be two new aircrafts delivered so we are going to carry out additional castings of flight

attendants. I think that we will undertake this project once again!” – said Deputy General Director of Marketing and Foreign Economic Activities of National Airline Belavia Chegrinets Igor.
