Ticket purchase on Belavia-Belarusian airlines website became cheaper and easier

On September 11, 2018 Belavia-Belarusian Airlines updated their website functionality.
The new version of the website is distinguished by the updated booking system as well as by the introduction of special fares available only when purchasing air tickets on the website of the airline belavia.by.

The special fare is lower by 10–17% in relation to the minimum current fare for the corresponding destinations. For example, at the moment the ticket price at the minimum fare on the route Minsk-Rome is 123 euros, according to the new fare such a ticket will cost 103 euros (the cost is indicated for one-way route, including all fees and charges). This fare will be displayed in the fare group “Economy restricted”. The number of tickets at special fares is limited.

In accordance with the wishes of passengers “Fare calendar” has been completed, now it has a more convenient form of “tabs”. When searching for flight options the total cost for all passengers is clearly displayed including all fees and charges.
In addition to the changes in the booking process, from September 11, 2018 on the airline's website users have the opportunity to book a hotel along the route. This innovation will be appreciated by business travelers and passengers who need to buy a ticket quickly and reserve accommodation. Points will be credited to the personal account of the participants of the “Belavia Leader” program for the stay in the hotel booked through the airline’s website (it is necessary to indicate the number of the participant when booking the hotel).

“By launching updated version of the site, Belavia makes another step to improve both the level of service and economic efficiency. The modernization of the website is an important initiative that allows the airline to establish the main communication channel with passengers”, – said Anatoly Gusarov, Director General of Belavia-Belarusian Airlines.

The development and improvement of the website belavia.by don’t end there. In the near future through the updated website passengers will be able to change or return tickets independently, to manage their bookings, adding to it additional services, such as extra baggage. At the moment the version of the airline’s website is also being developed for visually impaired.
The updated version of the website will work in the test mode during the month. Belavia-Belarusian Airlines ask to understand the testing and apologize for possible failures.
