Flight attendants changed their uniforms to sportswear
Belavia flight attendants will change into a special uniform in order to meet guests and participants in II European Games who will travel to Minsk on the flights from London, Paris and Rome on June 19. The project was implemented exclusively with the support of domestic manufacturers: the uniform design was developed by the Mark Formelle team, one of the most recognized Belarusian clothing brands, and Lida Shoe factory provided fashionable shoes for flight attendants, the design was created on the basis of the popular collection of sports shoes with two stripes on the sides.
More than 2,500 participants and fans of the II European Games will travel on Belavia flights. The uniform design for crews with a special print which emphasized the geographical position of the Republic Belarus was developed so that the guests of the country could experience the atmosphere of celebration and hospitality on the plane. Passengers will have an opportunity to learn some information about Belarus from specially designed brochures.
“Our airline company could not stay away from a global event, and with this project we decided to set the mood for sportsmen, members of combined teams, fans, as well as other participants in the European Games from the very first minutes of traveling to Belarus. We hope that this project will help our guests feel the atmosphere of a global sports celebration, which our country will live in the next few days!”, said Anatoly Gusarov, Director General of Belavia-Belarusian Airlines.
In general, the project took less than 4 weeks, from the concept elaboration to obtaining samples. 9 men's and 9 women's custom-made suits were produced. Custom-made T-shirts with the design that answers the question “Where is Belarus located” will be available for sale in limited quantities.
“We welcome such a collaboration with Belavia, because such projects have an important social dimension. We talk about our country, its friendliness, openness and readiness to meet dear guests from other countries. We also become more experienced and more professional, which has a positive effect on our other projects and collections,” said Svetlana Siparova, co-owner of Mark Formelle.
Belavia flight attendants have taken part in a photoshoot which demonstrates that a wonderful trip to our country starts with the first step in the cabin. The phrase “We welcome you aboard Belavia” sounds like: “Welcome aboard Belarus - this visit will be unforgettable for you. It is an amazing place!”
