Change of self-isolation rules in Poland

On January 23, 2021, Decree No 153 came into force. It amends the resolution regarding the introduction of restrictions, permits, and prohibitions in connection with the epidemiological situation. The Decree provides for the release from quarantine in Poland of those persons, who have a negative SARS-CoV-2 test, performed before crossing the border within 48 hours, counting from the moment the test result was received. To release from quarantine, the test is required for all passengers of all age groups including children.

Pay your attention that the rules covering entry regulations to Poland have not changed and remain the same in accordance with the Resolution of the Council of Ministers of Poland of December 21, 2020.

The presence of a negative test is not mandatory for entering the Republic of Poland, it is necessary to bear in mind that the presence of a negative test does not give the right for entering the Republic of Poland on any grounds, provided by the Resolution of Council of Ministers of Poland of December 21, 2020.
