Co-branding program of Sber Bank and Belavia has new format at present

Belavia Belarusian Airlines and Sber Bank presented updated co-branding program.

For the first time, the airline and the bank issued the co-branded card in 2011. It allowed the members of Belavia Lider program collect points by making payments with co-branded VISA card BPS- Sber Bank -Belavia. For each euro in a check (or for an equivalent amount in another currency) program participants received 1 point on their account.

Today the co-branded product of the bank and the airline is available as a special service, which can be connected to a valid VISA Gold/Platinum/Infinite card in the Sber Bank Online system by members of Belavia Lider program. The number of points awarded remains unchanged – for every spent euro (or equivalent in another currency) the participant receives 1 point. The points are awarded monthly on the amount of transactions for the period. A participant receives a bank notification about a point awarding.

To activate the service, the holder of the Sber Bank card is to enter the Sber Bank Online system, go to the “Settings” – “Card management”. Then, in the list of services it is necessary to choose the item “Management “Belavia Lider”, and enter the number of a participant of the loyalty program and pay for the service activation.

“Sber Bank is a long-time reliable partner of Belavia Airlines. 10 years ago we presented the co-branded card, which was popular among members of Belavia Lider program. However, the variety of modern card products and bank services dictates the necessity of go to a more progressive product while maintaining the mechanism of bonus points awarding, that is already familiar to the participants of Belavia Lider program.

The decision to switch from a co-branded card to a separate service gives the possibility to choose the most convenient card product and activate an additional service online, that, in its turn, gives participants of Belavia Lider program additional flexibility and allow to save one of the main human resources: time”, - commented Vladimir Barkun, the deputy General Director for Marketing and Foreign Economic Affairs.

The participants of the Belavia Lider program can use the collected points to execute award tickets and upgrade the service class. To become a participant of a Belavia Leader Program it is necessary to register on the official website of the airlines in the section “Menu” – “Belavia Leader” – “Registration”. After completing the questionnaire, the passenger receives an individual number and password, which allows to enter the profile of a participant, which contains information about the points awarded.
