Belavia has undergone IOSA audit successfully and confirmed high security standards

In June 2021, Belavia Belarussian Airlines was audited by the International Air Transport Association (IATA). A thorough check of the data received in the course of the audit and submitted to IATA took for about 4 months, resulting in that it was decided to extend the validity of the IOSA certificate to Belavia till November 2, 2023. The certificate availability confirms that the airline adheres to the advanced international aviation standards in the field of operational safety while carrying out its activities. 

For the first time Belavia has undergone the audit of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and received the IOSA certificate in 2007. In accordance with the existing rules, obtaining the certificate is a must for all IATA members, the airline is recertified every two years and it allows to maintain the membership in the international association.

Successful passage of the audit for the eighth time confirms the high level of Belavia safety during flights. The Airline pays great attention to the implementation and maintenance of constantly updated IOSA standards and continuous improvements of management systems of an organization, flight safety and aviation security management.

IOSA (IATA Operational Safety Audit) is an airline operational safety audit program developed by the International Air Transport Association, which is designed to estimate the operational management and control systems of air carriers. The IOSA standards guide includes about 1000 requirements, that the airline must confirm during the audit.
