To the attention of citizens of Iraq, Syria, Yemen and Afghanistan flying from Dubai.

According to the decision of the competent authorities of UAE please note that starting from 14.11.2021 citizens of Afghanistan, Iraq, Yemen, Syria will not be accepted for boarding on flights from Dubai to Minsk. In this regard, Belavia is strengthening documents verification during check-in for flights from Dubai.

Passengers subject to this ban can refund their tickets at the place of purchase.

Belavia started operating regular flights from Minsk to Dubai in February 2021. During the summer period (the "low season" in Dubai), Belavia operated 3 flights per week. Due to an increase in demand from Belarusian tour-operators which are selling tickets as part of packages to Belarusian citizens, from October 2021 the frequency has increased to 5 flights per week. Thus, on flights to Dubai, most of the seats were sold as blocks to Belarusian tour-operators, the number of tickets starting from Dubai was minimal. Visitors and participants of Expo-2020 in Dubai also travel on this flight.

Belavia airline emphasizes that for many years it has not operated regular or charter flights to Afghanistan, Iraq, Yemen, Syria and has never facilitated the transportation of illegal migrants to the Republic of Belarus. Due to the increased attention to this topic of some media, the airline has strengthened control on all its flights over compliance of all visa requirements and migration legislation of the Republic of Belarus and foreign countries.
