Changes in the schedule of charter flights to Egypt

Dear passengers!

In connection with the closure of the part of the air space of the Russian Federation for civil aviation, Belavia airline is forced to adjust the routes of many flights, including charter flights.

Flights to Hurghada and Sharm El Sheikh (Egypt) are planned to be operated by Boeing 737-800 aircraft on the new routes (with a landing for refueling):

  • Minsk – Aktau (technical landing) – Sharm El Sheikh – Aktau (technical landing) – Minsk;
  • Minsk – Aktau (technical landing) - Hurghada – Aktau (technical landing) – Minsk.

In this regard there has been a significant increase in flight time, the required amount of fuel, the cost of air navigation services, as well as the costs associated with two additional intermediate landings in Aktau (Kazakhstan) when operating charter flights.

Taking the listed circumstances into account, the airline is forced to increase the cost of charter flights to Egypt from March 11, 2022.
We would like to draw your attention, that the increase in cost was due to the reasons beyond the control of the airline, and is equally applied to all customers of the charter flights.

In case of lifting the ban on the use of the closed airspace and cancellation of the intermediate landing the airline Belavia will immediately reduce the cost of charter flights to Egypt in accordance with the actual costs.

At the same time, tour operator Tez Tour has taken the decision to suspend charter flights to Egypt from March 5, 2022. Passengers on vocation will be transported to the Republic of Belarus by evacuation flights. Other tour operators have confirmed their plans to continue flight programs to the resorts of Egypt.
