Entry rules to Kazakhstan and Armenia have been changed for the citizens of the Russian Federation
Please, draw your attention: from June 13, 2023 there are new rules for travelling to Kazakhstan and Armenia for the citizens of the Russian Federation travelling on the basis of a national passport or a birth certificate.
Under the new rules, the citizens of the Russian Federation:
- can travel on a national passport to Armenia
- cannot travel on a national passport to Kazakhstan
- cannot travel on a birth certificate regardless of their age. Exception: on flights to the Russian Federation as well as from the Russian Federation to Belarus for passengers under 14 years of age, the rules for determining the citizenship of a child apply. In other words, children under 14 years of age can travel to these destinations with a birth certificate.
