“We expect that Gomel-Moscow route will be in demand both by passengers traveling on their personal matters and by representatives of the business community, - said Igor Tcherginets, general director of Belavia. – Gomel is the second largest city in Belarus with the developed infrastructure and great export potential. Over the past year, according to official data, more than 52% of exports were made to the Russian Federation. The figure shows the strong business contacts between Gomel and Russian regions. We hope that the opening of the route will contribute to their further development”.

Igor Tcherginets also reminded the traditional advantages of flights - temporal:
“Despite the apparent proximity of Gomel and Moscow, the two cities are separated by a smart distance, which can be covered “by land” in 7-8 hours. The flight from Gomel to Moscow will take less than an hour and a half, and our passengers will be able to use their valuable resource – time – for rest, business meetings or communication with loved ones”.

The new flight is also attractive due to its convenient logistics. Vnukovo is just 19 km from Moscow, and there is an Aeroexpress between the metropolis and the airport. And recently, the metro has also been running: it takes only 40 minutes to get from point A to point B.
