Flights take approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes from Brest, and 1 hour, 55 minutes in the other direction to Moscow. The flight was carried out on an Embraer 175 plane with comfortable economy and business-class cabins. On the occasion of the inauguration of the first Belavia flight at Sheremetyevo Airport, an official event took place with the participation of I. Tcherginets, general director of JSC "Belavia Airlines", as well as representatives from JSC "SAI" and the Embassy of Belarus in Russia. The opening ceremonies also took place in Brest, where a press conference was held with representatives from the Ministry of Transport and Communications, the regional leadership, and a traditional ceremony involving a water arch and ribbon cutting to mark the arrival of the aircraft. Finally, congratulations were extended to the first passenger on board.

"The opening of a new flight between Brest and Moscow is significant for our airline and passengers," said Igor Cherginets, general director of JSC "Belavia Airlines". "It is symbolic that the new route connects the cities during the celebrations for the Day of Unity between Belarus and Russia, which are held on April 2nd. Direct flights from Brest to Moscow will strengthen business contacts with Russian partners, as well as opening up new opportunities for tourism and cultural exchange in historically rich regions. For our passengers, a regular flight will also be beneficial, reducing travel time and allowing people to plan their trips more efficiently."

The load of the first flight was 86%. More than 1,900 tickets were sold, indicating the demand for the route. Belavia intends to increase the frequency of regular flights and develop the capabilities of Brest's regional airports. In May, it is planned to restart charter flights between Brest and Antalya.
