Bad weather in Sochi and Batumi affected Belavia's schedule

There are heavy snowfalls in Sochi and the resort towns of Georgia. For this reason, today's Belavia Minsk-Sochi and Sochi-Minsk flights were delayed.

The morning flight B2-925, route Minsk-Sochi, was forced to leave for an alternate airfield in Tbilisi. The flight with 67 passengers took off to its destination after about an hour and a half of waiting and landed safely at Sochi International Airport.

Belavia's return flight B2-926 Sochi-Minsk, scheduled to depart at 12.30 p.m., was delayed for about 3.5 hours. Belavia provided the passengers (94 people in total) with water and food.

Bad weather conditions - snowfall and strong crosswinds - affect the operation of Batumi airport. To ensure the safety of passengers, the flight from Minsk to Batumi, scheduled for February 25 at 11.05 p.m., was canceled due to weather conditions. Passengers will be asked to fly to Batumi tomorrow, February 26, at 3 p.m., or to issue a full refund for unused air tickets. The flight departure from Batumi to Minsk on February 26 is scheduled for 9.25 p.m. local time.

Dear passengers, considering that snowfall has also been recorded in Kutaisi, please keep an eye on the news and schedule.

Belavia is making every effort to reduce the discomfort of the current situation.
