From October 29 Belavia Switches to the Winter Flights Schedule

JSC Belavia-Belarusian Airlines introduces a new schedule for the aircrafts flights within the IATA “Winter 2017/2018” season from October 29, 2017 to March 24, 2018.
In the winter season the number of flights from Minsk to Warsaw will be increased. The sixth flight on Sundays will be added to five flights per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
It is also planned to increase the number of flights on the Minsk- Amsterdam- Minsk route up to six flights per week. Flights to Amsterdam from Minsk and back using Belavia-Belarusian Airlines services will be available on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
In addition, the Airline plans to increase the number of flights to Moscow Region Zhukovsky airport. Now, instead of 8 flights per week, the Belarusian Carrier will perform 11 flights. At the moment the flights from Minsk to Zhukovsky airport are performed once a day, on Friday they are performed twice a day. The second flight per day will be added on Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays.
“Experts of the Airline constantly analyze the needs of our customers. Approximately every six months we make adjustments to the flight plan depending on the season. For instance, Nice is not in demand in winter, so we decided to stop flights on this route before the start of the summer schedule of 2018. We witness the demand for such destinations as Warsaw, Amsterdam and Zhukovsky, that is why we were pleased to add the number of flights”, - said Director General of Belavia-Belarusian Airlines Anatoly Gusarov.
From the start of the winter schedule it is planned to increase the number of flights on the Minsk- Istanbul- Minsk route up to five flights per week. Flights to Istanbul from Minsk and back using Belavia-Belarusian Airlines services will be available on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays.
The last flight on the Minsk- Nice –Minsk route will be performed on November 11, 2017. It is planned to resume the flight from the start of the summer season of 2018.
From the start of the winter schedule the Airline will stop performing the flights on the Minsk- Tehran - Minsk route.
We remind you that from October 29, 2017 Belavia will switch from the weight concept of baggage registration to the number of pieces system.
