Covid-19. Passenger information

Belavia-Belarusian Airlines has been actively monitoring the situation caused by coronavirus, as well as follows WHO recommendations. Passenger safety is a priority for the airline! Stay tuned for the latest changes related to your trip!

Government entry/exit requirements by country

Dear passengers, to check the flight status it is necessary to open the section “Booking Status”. All the actual (non-cancelled) flights is on sale and are accessible for payment via the site of the Belavia-Belarusian Airlines.

If your flight is cancelled, you can:

  • return the air ticket and get the total amount without deductions;
  • change your flight date on the same route once with the travel period during the ticket validity* (for air tickets issued before December 31, 2020 — until December 31, 2021 for all flight coupons) without additional charges within the same service class;
  • once change the route without additional charges within one premium zone of the Belavia Leader program if the route change complies with the rules of the selected tariff. Please, the list of directions and premium zone levels are available at the link.

Changes to the air ticket can be made no later than June 30, 2021.

If there is an official ban on the entry/exit/transit** of foreign citizens to the territory of the country, as well as in cases of forced lockdown**, you can:

  • change your flight date prior to the flight departure on the same route once with the travel period during the ticket validity* (for air tickets issued before December 31, 2020 — until December 31, 2021 for all flight coupons) without additional charges within the same service class;
  • once change the route prior to the flight departure without additional charges within one premium zone of the Belavia Leader program if the route change complies with the rules of the selected tariff. Please, the list of directions and premium zone levels are available at the link.
  • Apply for a refund without deductions (only in case of enter/exit/transit bans). The application must be submitted prior to the departure date.

Changes to the air ticket can be made no later than June 30, 2021.

In addition, the following requirements must be met:

  • the passenger is a citizen of a country whose citizens are prohibited from entering the destination (country) specified in the air ticket;
  • arrival at the destination by air ticket falls under the temporary period of the ban, except when such requirements were known at the time of purchase/reissue of the air ticket.

* the ticket validity is determined in IATA Resolution 735 and is equal to 1 year from the date of issuance of the ticket (if the travel has not started) or 1 year from the start date of travel (if the travel has started).
** it does not apply to the cases when such requirements were known at the time of purchase of the air ticket; does not apply to the cases of quarantine when a passenger arrives in the country of which he has citizenship.

To return an air ticket purchased on the website: belavia.by, you should send a completed application for refusal of air transportation and return of funds to the e-mail address: support@belavia.by (you can find the application template here).
If your flight is NOT cancelled and you do not belong to the category of passengers mentioned above, changes and returns are possible according to the rules of the applied tariff. The rules for making changes to air tickets via the Internet can be found at the link.
